THE GRAIN OF THE LAND
I was born straddling two contrasting worlds. One was a tropical paradise brimming with love, vibrant salsa rhythms, and a sense of oppression. The other was the inner city during the 1980s, a melting pot of immigrants chasing their dreams. It was a place of resilience, constant change, and countless opportunities. The overarching objective was clear: to overcome the odds and succeed.
